Graphic Designer
As a Graphic Designer, you create visually engaging communication that strengthens brands in both internal and external channels. You lead the design work from idea to final delivery, ensuring high quality and a clear visual identity.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Graphic Designer, you combine creativity, storytelling, and technology to create inspiring graphic communication. You are responsible for producing visual assets for both internal and external target groups, ensuring that all communication is consistent, relevant, and in line with established tone and brand guidelines.
You take a leading role in the design process, from planning and concept to final production, collaborating closely with various teams to meet business needs. The role requires both a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to work systematically in an environment with multiple parallel projects.
In this role, you will be employed by Academic Work and will be on assignment with our client. This is a position to cover a parental leave and starts at the beginning of March.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves leading the visual design process, ensuring brand consistency, and producing a variety of graphic materials for both digital and print channels, as well as collaborating with different teams to achieve business goals.
- Create cohesive visual design and ensure that graphic guidelines are followed
- Lead the creative design process from concept to final delivery
- Produce graphic materials for digital and print channels, such as campaigns, advertisements, websites, presentations, pitch decks, printed materials, and merchandise
- Work with image editing, photobashing, infographics, and basic motion design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate goals and needs into visual solutions
- Ensure correct tone and visual quality in all communication
- Support with graphics for internal video productions
- Prepare print originals, provide recommendations on format and printing method, and quality assure deliveries
- Review and approve design work to ensure quality and brand alignment
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work towards set deadlines
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and industry practices
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has several years of experience working as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role
- Has a very good ability to create visually strong and cohesive design based on given brand guidelines
- Is responsible and accustomed to leading design processes from idea to final delivery
- Has a strong aesthetic sense and eye for detail, typography, color, and layout
- Thrives in a changing environment and can handle multiple parallel projects with tight deadlines
- Is structured and quality-conscious with a good understanding of both digital and print productions
- Has good collaboration skills and can translate needs from different stakeholders into visual solutions
It is a plus if you have:
- Experience working with multiple brands or complex brand portfolios
- Experience developing, managing, or updating graphic guidelines
- Knowledge of motion design and working in After Effects
- Experience in video editing and graphic support for video production
- Deep understanding of print production, material selection, and various printing methods
- Experience working in the gaming, tech, or entertainment industry
- Familiarity with working in international and cross-functional teams
