Security Guards Wanted at Avarn Security in Borås

We are currently looking for security guards to join Avarn Security in Borås. We work extensively with patrols, alarm responses, and parking surveillance on private property. There is also the opportunity to work at one of our stationary sites.

Qualifications:

We are looking for security-conscious, social, empathetic, and positive individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help others. Security guards work in many different environments with highly varied tasks - we seek individuals who enjoy working with people and have a clear service-oriented commitment. We also prefer candidates who can communicate fluently in English.

We are looking for individuals who can work at least eight weeks during the period from June to August. If you have the right profile, we offer security guard training and an opportunity to step into an exciting and growing industry.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and progress in the process but do not already possess the required training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Occupational and Environmental Committee of the Security Industry. Participation in this training is a prerequisite for employment.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• high school diploma with a passing grade in at least Swedish 1
• proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• driver's license B

You must also be unpunished*, drug-free, have a stable economy, and possess good health and physical fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is an asset for these positions. Other valuable qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and prior experience in public environments.
