Case Officer to the Authority Unit

The Authority Unit at the Health and Care Administration is now looking for a case officer as we have employees going on parental leave and others who have chosen to move on to other assignments within the administration. If you enjoy working with people and have a sense of responsibility with the customer's individual needs in focus, this is an assignment for you!

Job responsibilities

As a case officer, you will assess the customer's need for assistance according to the Social Services Act (SoL). You will collaborate with hospitals, home care, short-term placements, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Together, you work to create security for the individual and their relatives. Collaboration with other administrations is also part of the job.

The positions we need to fill are partly placed in the team that works with the SVU process and focuses on planning individuals from inpatient care and short-term placements, and partly in teams that work with individuals living in regular housing.

Qualifications

To proceed in the recruitment process, you must have:

• a degree in social work or a degree from another education that the employer deems equivalent
• good knowledge of applicable legislation and experience of authority exercise
• a valid driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have experience working with Mina Planer and the SVU process.

We would like you to feel comfortable with the documentation systems Life Care and Procapita, as well as working based on IBIC, and have experience handling Mina Planer or equivalent collaboration systems, and have good knowledge of structure and working methods there.

You enjoy meeting people, have a positive outlook, and good collaboration skills. In your interactions with customers and their relatives, a dignified approach and a warm interest in working with people are very important.

You can handle work situations with integrity and judgment and work both independently and in a team. You need to be flexible and responsible and have a good ability to communicate clearly and trustworthily, both verbally and in writing. You are structured and have a good ability to handle demands from the environment without losing focus on the task.

Additional information

The monthly salary for the positions is around 34,500 – 38,000 SEK. We apply individual salary setting, and the offered monthly salary is based on education, experience, and competence. Ongoing selection takes place.

A permanent position and a temporary position from 2026-05-01 for about nine months, with the possibility of extension.
