Personal assistants needed for a 10-year-old girl in Tollarp

Kurera Omsorg is looking for personal assistants for a 10-year-old girl who is placed in a foster home in Tollarp. This is a newly started home assistance, and we are initially looking for hourly substitutes, with the possibility of a permanent schedule later on if everything feels good for all parties involved.

The girl is in a wheelchair and does not speak. She communicates with sounds and movements. She is a very happy and loving girl who enjoys close contact and sounds. She does not have a sense of consequences and has long arms, which means that you as an assistant need to keep a close watch on her at all times.

The assistance covers all hours of the day, except during school hours. There are awake nights.

Job responsibilities:

• Personal care
• Medication
• Support in daily life and help with what she cannot manage on her own

As a personal assistant, you are her extended arms and legs and a very important part of her daily life.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can work days and evenings
• Can step in as needed, including at night (awake night)
• Has a driver's license and access to a car (the residence is far from the nearest bus stop)
• Is not allergic to fur
• Previous experience in personal assistance is an advantage but not a requirement; personal suitability and a safe, calm, and responsible attitude are very important.
