Logent is now looking, on behalf of a client, for a Business Controller for a shorter assignment (with the possibility of extension) who will take on an exciting key role close to the business where the right person can make a difference!

About the position: As a Business Controller with our client, you will have a broad role where you work on both high and low levels. You will be responsible for steering and developing the controlling work for several business areas and provide business support to the operational managers regarding financial matters in the sales, implementation, and follow-up processes. The position is based in Stockholm, you will report to the Head of Business Control and become part of the CFO organization.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial and operational follow-up and analysis

• Drive the target and forecasting process for several business areas

• Act as a sounding board on financial and strategic issues for operational managers and management

• Work closely with the business and be an important support in financial follow-up

• Support the business and operational managers in the continuous development of operations.

• Drive and actively work with year-end closing and participate in various types of projects

• Contribute to and participate in digitalization development

• Administrative work and contribute to developing routines and processes

• Development work of systems for follow-up and analysis

Your profile: We are looking for someone with a degree in economics at the university level or equivalent. Additionally, you have worked in a controller role for about 1-3 years, which has given you a good understanding of financial analysis. You may have experience working as an auditor or management consultant. If you have experience from working in a labor-intensive industry, it is considered an advantage. To succeed in the role, you should be confident in the fundamentals of accounting, have analytical skills, and enjoy being hands-on while also being able to work with details. You have good knowledge of Excel and are fluent in both English and Swedish.

Furthermore, you are self-assured and have an easy time communicating both verbally and in writing, and can pedagogically map and clarify financial relationships.
