Your tasks
As a Technical and Maintenance Manager, you have overall responsibility for the facility's technical function and maintenance work at the site in Järna.
Your assignment includes, among other things:
- leading and developing maintenance strategies and preventive working methods
- driving the transition from reactive to planned and long-term maintenance
- responsibility for the maintenance budget and technical investment priorities
- monitoring technical availability and relevant key performance indicators
- leading and supporting maintenance leaders and specialists
- collaborating closely with production, planning, purchasing, and external partners
- ensuring that maintenance work is conducted in a structured manner with support from systems and follow-up
The role combines operational presence with long-term responsibility for technology, structure, and development.
Worth knowing
You report to the Site Manager and are part of the site's management team. You have personnel responsibility for a maintenance leader and several specialist roles, with overall responsibility for maintenance operations at the site.
The role operates in a technically complex production environment with high demands on operational reliability and stable production.
The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. As part of the recruitment process, a background check will also be conducted. Start date according to agreement.
Our expectations
We are looking for someone with experience in leading technical operations within the manufacturing industry and who is confident in the role of manager, including responsibility for other managers. You have worked on building or further developing maintenance strategies and a more preventive working method, and have a good understanding of how technology, maintenance, and production interact over time.
You have documented experience in technical development and improvement work in an industrial environment and have participated in or led technical investment projects. Experience with structured working methods, such as TPM or equivalent, is an advantage.
Experience working in maintenance systems is a natural part of the role. Experience with MaintMaster is a plus.
As a leader, you are confident, clear, and coaching. You create engagement through presence, dialogue, and follow-up while leading the business through change with structure, clarity, and collaboration.
Experience from the food industry or other regulated activities is an advantage. An academic education, preferably a Master's degree in engineering with a focus on process industry, production, or similar, is desirable but can be replaced by relevant work experience. You communicate fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.
