About the position

Svenska kraftnät is now looking for someone to assist with administrative tasks for pre-qualification and follow-up of support service deliveries and to gather technical information. You may also help with some more technical tasks. You will belong to the Requirements Validation unit, which consists of fifteen people and one consultant. The unit's overall responsibility is to carry out pre-qualifications and follow-up of support services, which are important balancing services to maintain the frequency of the electricity system. During pre-qualification, technical requirements are evaluated to become an approved supplier of the support services.

The position is located at our office in Sundbyberg.

Your tasks

In the role of administrator and technical support within pre-qualification, you will be responsible for responding to administrative emails, collecting and compiling technical data, and more. You will also assist in following up on support service deliveries and evaluating pre-qualification applications. The position will also include:

• Acting as administrative support in handling pre-qualification matters.
• Reviewing and updating information.
• Developing Python tools.

You will have the opportunity to develop by gaining experience in one of Sweden's most growing areas while also getting to know the work at Svenska kraftnät, especially in the areas of pre-qualification of support services and their follow-up.

Your background

You should be in your third or fourth year of a relevant engineering program, such as systems in technology and society, energy, electrical engineering, or engineering physics.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience of independent work.
• Experience in handling and analyzing large amounts of data.
• Good proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience in the electricity sector related to balancing services and knowledge of the power system, frequency regulation, or equivalent. Experience with Python or another programming language is also an advantage.

Your personal qualities

We would like you to have a positive attitude towards work, a good sense of order and structure in your working method. Furthermore, you should find it easy to contact people as the job will involve contacts with both colleagues and many stakeholders. We also see it as a great advantage if you enjoy working in a team as you will be relieving the regular staff.
