Description

The Adult Unit is part of the combined operational area IFO within the Safety and Support sector.

IFO includes all authority exercise within social services as well as certain service parts for children and young people as well as adults.

Our goal is to ensure that our clients can be offered a clear, coordinated, and efficient process in their contact with us. As part of achieving this goal, we are located in the municipality's City Hall, which has an office solution based on an activity-based working method. This way, we can enhance efficiency and support communication and collaboration. This also includes IT solutions that promote a paperless working method.

The Adult Unit handles cases from 18 years and older. The unit employs 13 social workers (6 focusing on addiction/homelessness for ages 25 and up, 2 in reception functions, 3 with young adults, 2 field-based/outreach) and two senior social workers under the leadership of a unit manager. There is also a social administrator linked to the unit. From the beginning of the year, the Social Medical Reception with 2 counselors is also included in the unit.

Responsibilities

You will primarily work with the handling of adults based on harmful use/dependency and homelessness. Your tasks will include investigations based on reports and applications as well as follow-ups in cases with interventions and care according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Abusers Act (LVM) in certain cases.

The Adult Unit strives to work in accordance with the National Guidelines for addiction and dependency care. ASI is implemented in the unit, and we have data support via ASI-Net.

In the daily operational individual work, you will have access to method support and supervision from a senior social worker who has extensive experience in authority exercise for the relevant target group.

Qualifications

We are now looking for someone with a degree in social work, and it is an advantage if you have previously worked with authority exercise for the age group 21 and older.

If you have prior knowledge of our operational system Treserva and ASI, that is a plus.

You have good knowledge of the handling process and documentation. You are well-versed in the legislation that governs the work. Since the tasks involve collaboration with both internal and external contacts, we need someone who can create good collaborative relationships. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
