We are looking for you who want to work as a substitute in small, safe, and family-like preschools where children's curiosity, play, and safety are at the center and want to become part of our shared substitute pool.

About us

We are three parent cooperatives in Gothenburg that collaborate through a common principal and substitute pool. Each preschool is small and cozy, with about 20 children and a high staff density. In our operations, relationships, care, and a responsive working method are the foundation for everything we do. We believe in the competent child and strive to create environments where every child can grow with safety, joy, and support. As a substitute, you will meet engaged educators, small groups, and a warm atmosphere where your contribution makes a difference every day.

Our cooperatives are located in the following places:

• Föräldrakooperativet Kottarna near Delsjömotet and Kallebäck
• Föräldrakooperativet Tippen in Linné
• Föräldrakooperativet Biet in Linné

About the assignment

As a substitute, you will work together with regular educators in the daily work with the children. You will step in during illness, leave, or other absences, sometimes at short notice. The tasks vary but may include:

• Participation in play, activities, and outings
• Support during meals, rest, and dressing/undressing
• Contributing to safety and joy in the child group
• Following routines and helping where needed

You will have the opportunity to work at one or more of our three preschools, depending on needs and preferences.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a warm, respectful, and safe approach towards children
• Is flexible and responsible
• Can work at short notice, often the same morning
• Enjoys being outdoors in all weather
• Ideally has experience working with children (preschool, after-school care, family daycare, etc.)
• Education as a childcare worker or preschool teacher is an advantage but not a requirement

We also welcome those who are studying, working part-time, or are curious to learn more about the preschool profession.

To work in preschool, you need to present a valid extract from the criminal record.
