Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a music teacher at 45% with teaching in grades 2-6 as well as adapted primary school. Our common goal is for students to have the best possible development, both academically and socially. Together we will prepare each student for the future. By collaborating with one another, we will create the best conditions for each student to succeed and to believe in their own abilities.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and naturally places the needs and conditions of the student at the center. You work according to the curriculum and applicable governing documents when you plan, implement, evaluate, and document your teaching both independently and together with your colleagues. You follow up on teaching and students' results in collaboration and dialogue with your colleagues. Your tasks also include planning and organizing school events and other performances, as well as occasionally collaborating with external cultural actors.

Qualifications

You who are applying have a teaching license with subject competence in music for grades 2-6. You are engaged and flexible with good collaborative skills and have a positive attitude. You have the ability to create good meetings and to interact with students, guardians, and colleagues. You want to actively participate in the school's development work. You have the ability to build good relationships and have a clear and professional approach in dialogue with students and guardians.

You want to develop your teaching and work systematically with planning, implementing, and assessing students' knowledge. You are clear and confident in your leadership and adapt teaching based on students' conditions and prior knowledge to give them the opportunity to develop as far as possible. You have good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day.

Lorensborgsskolan is a primary school for students from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located in central Malmö, close to the Stadium and Pildammsparken. We have special activities; visual impairment services and adapted primary school.
