Ängelholm High School is an inspiring meeting place for knowledge and development. It is a large workplace - every day we welcome about 1500 students! To offer a good operation, we are about 200 employees.

Ängelholm High School has motivated students and knowledgeable staff. Our high school programs are located in three different school units; Rönnegymnasiet, Valhall College, and Victoriaskolan. We have good results and strive to develop our operations in line with the outside world. The school receives media attention for both good initiatives from teachers and successful results from students. The influx of applications to our programs is strong.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged teacher who wants to work with us at Ängelholm High School to inspire students and create a school where both students and staff feel a strong sense of participation. Together, we strive to continuously improve the content and results of our operations.

The position mainly includes teaching, assessment, and planning. In addition, other usual tasks within the framework of the teaching role, including mentorship, are included. You will belong to a work team within your subject area and work to develop teaching together with other educators.

The majority of the position involves teaching in college preparatory programs, but we are also looking for someone interested in teaching students in our vocational programs.

The position is primarily located at Rönnegymnasiet in central Ängelholm, as well as at Valhall College.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher with qualifications in psychology at the high school level. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience in educational work with young people.

In addition to your subject-specific knowledge, you also possess other important qualities that contribute to creating a good working environment for both students and staff. For the students, you are a safe and clear leader in various teaching situations. You have the ability to inspire and engage them in learning based on their varied conditions. In your communication with both students and staff and guardians, you are attentive, flexible, and have a calm and friendly demeanor. Furthermore, you easily build trust in your various relationships. As a person, you are driven and curious to constantly learn new things. You see learning as an important part of both students' and your personal development.

Good collaboration skills, experience working in teams, and an interest in driving pedagogical development work are important qualities. You are open to working across program and subject boundaries and are agile in this. You have an interest in how we together, regardless of our different roles, can work with student health. Students are your top priority, and you collaborate with students and staff in an unpretentious way to help the organization thrive.

Interviews will take place on 3/3, 4/3, and 5/3 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
