Åkerskolan is a F-6 primary school as well as an adapted primary school 1-6 with an associated after-school program. The school is beautifully located near diverse nature in Nässjö municipality.

Increased learning - equality - meeting places; three important core values that permeate all work in Nässjö municipality's schools, the medium-sized municipality with about 30,000 inhabitants in the Småland highlands. To realize this, the municipal council has adopted a strategic and long-term development work for preschool and school in Nässjö municipality.

Within the child and education administration, we consciously and purposefully work to provide every child and student with the tools needed to seek knowledge in life. The goal is for every child and student to develop according to their conditions and feel joy and pride in their successes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the teaching in one of our primary school classes. Your task is to stimulate all students' development and learning, take advantage of the students' enthusiasm and curiosity, and work for a safe and accessible learning environment for all students. You have extensive experience collaborating with colleagues and see it as a given to jointly offer each student a qualitative and safe school environment.

You will be part of a working team. Naturally, you will base your work on the school's governing documents and the needs and interests that the students show. Together with the principal and colleagues, we develop the operations and continuously work with systematic quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Åkerskolan is growing, and we need to expand our organization by recruiting more teachers. We are looking for a qualified teacher with authorization to teach in primary school. Personal suitability is important, and we believe this means you have good collaboration skills, are engaged, flexible, and actively work to make the school accessible for all students.
