We are two acute geriatric care departments with a total of 58 care places and direct admission around the clock. Most of our patients are over 65 years old, but younger patients also occur as multimorbidity is more decisive for a place in geriatrics. You will work both independently and together in a multidisciplinary team where you, as a speech therapist, have a very important role.

Capio Geriatrik Löwet is beautifully located in Upplands Väsby, close to Fysingen with its deciduous forests and meadows, with a bus right outside the hospital that takes you to Upplands Väsby station.

We offer an interesting and varied job that includes assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing abilities in patients on the ward, follow-up, and further referral. Counseling, information, and education for staff, patients, and relatives are also an important part of the work.

You are a licensed speech therapist. You are flexible and have the ability to create good relationships with both our patients and their relatives, as well as your colleagues. The patient is in focus, and the goal is for the patients to feel satisfied. Experience is good, but the most important thing for us is that you are the right person who fits into our work group.
