Night Shift Care Assistant at Ginstgården

We are now looking for care assistants for night shifts who want to become part of our team.

Your Role

As a night care assistant, you are a central source of security for the residents at Ginstgården, who have cognitive impairments. During the night hours, you create calm while supporting the residents so that their needs are met in a dignified and person-centered way. In your work, you are an active bearer of our vision: that every encounter should be characterized by responsiveness, equality, and participation, even at night.

Your responsibilities include:

• taking responsibility for supervision and care of the residents during the night,
• providing support for personal care and safety-enhancing measures as needed,
• observing changes in the residents' health status and reporting to day and nursing staff,
• performing delegated health and medical tasks,
• contributing to a safe and structured night environment.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and can contribute with security, calm, and consideration. You enjoy working independently, are attentive in your work, and take initiative when the situation requires it. Careful documentation and clear handovers are a natural part of the job, as is an active dialogue with colleagues to create safety for the residents together.

Qualifications

• Training as a care assistant, with a protected professional title.
• Experience in close care work
• Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments (dementia).
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work night shifts
