About the Workplace

The healthcare center Läkarhuset is centrally located in Gothenburg.

The healthcare center is situated in Läkarhuset at Södra vägen 27 (near Heden). It is a healthcare center with approximately 6,000 registered patients and 16 employees. At the healthcare center, general practitioners, resident doctors, district nurses, nurses, psychologists, and nursing assistants work. We regularly accept resident doctors, students from the medical program, nursing program, and nursing assistant program.

We have been running our own child health care (BVC) service for the past 6 months. We also have a physiotherapist at the clinic 2 days a week. In addition to the healthcare center, Läkarhuset houses about 16 different specialist clinics with which we have a good collaboration. For over 5 years, the healthcare center has had digital healthcare contacts through the Praktikertjänsten app, where patients can contact us via chat. We can also conduct video visits through this system.

Job Responsibilities

You will be involved in continuing to build our BVC. As time allows, you may also work as a district nurse/nurse at the healthcare center with regular job duties. At the healthcare center, you will be able to conduct outpatient visits, home visits, telephone consultations, vaccinations, health checks, etc.

As a BVC nurse with us, you will have a meaningful job where you follow children and families during their first years. You will become an important link in our operations, and we place great emphasis on ensuring you receive a good introduction and feel like part of the team from day one.

Qualifications

Qualified district nurse with Swedish license and experience in BVC, or alternatively a BVC nurse. Good experience in BVC is an asset. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Great importance is placed on being able to work independently, flexibility, innovative thinking, and personal suitability.

Additional Information

The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00 and is staffed by doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. We have an individual schedule that allows you to influence your day. We currently work in the Webdoc journal system.

We are owned by Praktikertjänst AB. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
