The welfare sector consists of four areas: disability services, home care and home health care, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes. Home care and home health care are responsible for services according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. We operate throughout the municipality and are responsible for authority exercise, home health care, home care, and short-term services. Our mission is to provide support and assistance to those who have difficulty managing daily life and to provide good and quality-assured home health care.

By the summer of 2026, we are looking for nurses for;

• disability services and social psychiatry
• evening and night operations
• short-term care

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The municipality's health and medical care has developed in recent years to provide more advanced care in the patient's home with both planned and acute health and medical care interventions. The home health care organization is responsible for patients of all ages with various diagnoses and varying needs.

The tasks vary with the patient in focus, where planning, implementation, and follow-up are central parts of the work. As a patient-responsible nurse, you are responsible for a number of patients that you follow over time. The role includes informing, guiding, and delegating tasks to care staff. The work includes standard tasks within home health care and involves both independent work and teamwork. You perform medical assessments and interventions and collaborate in interdisciplinary teams together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, managers, and care staff. Additionally, you have regular contact with external partners, such as health centers and inpatient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in open health and medical care, psychiatry, dementia, or geriatrics. A B driver's license is a requirement, as a car is used as a means of transport in the work.

To thrive in the role, you are a secure and stable person with a strong sense of responsibility. You have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to different situations. Furthermore, you are structured and can plan and organize your work effectively. You value good collaboration and see the benefits of teamwork. We would like you to have work experience from municipal home health care. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
