At Hospice Helhetsvården, every day matters.

Here, care is about more than medical interventions – it’s about presence, relief, and cherishing life as long as it lasts. We are now looking for a nurse who wants to work in a non-profit organization where a holistic approach, quality of life, and professional care characterize everyday life.

Your Role

As a nurse with us, you will work closely with guests, relatives, and colleagues in palliative care. You are part of a team with nursing assistants in a nurse-led operation, supported by doctors from the palliative team at Sahlgrenska. In your work, you will be responsible for symptom relief, medical assessments, and follow-ups. You will plan care, manage medical technical equipment, and delegate health and medical care tasks. The work is based on each person's life situation and relies on collaboration and secure decisions.

With us, you will receive thorough training and work in an environment where there is room to ask questions, reflect, and gradually deepen your competence in palliative care.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a licensed nurse who is curious about palliative care and the working methods that Helhetsvården represents. You appreciate teamwork, and in your work, you are attentive to guests and colleagues, communicative, and take the initiative when stepping into the role. You are also open to learning new things and want to continue developing as a nurse.

Qualifications

  • Licensed nurse
  • At least one year of experience in the profession, including familiarity with medication management and medical technical equipment
  • Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work day and evening shifts
  • Experience or education in specialized palliative care is an advantage
