About Us
Mini-Maria Fyrbodal and Skaraborg have their main receptions in Skövde, Lidköping, Trollhättan, and Uddevalla.
The Mini-Maria service targets young people up to 21 years old who have risky use, harmful use, or dependence on drugs and/or alcohol and/or gambling, as well as their relatives. Our mission is to be an easily accessible reception where young people and their relatives can come for advice, support, and treatment, either on their own initiative or through referrals. This accessibility allows us to intervene early with the necessary measures for the young person and their relatives. We also have a mission to work preventively and provide advice and support to other units, care neighbors, and professionals.
The work is based on interdisciplinary teamwork where nurses, social workers, psychologists, and doctors work together. The receptions are operated with shared responsibility between municipalities and Regionhälsan/VGR. The medical staff is provided by Regionhälsan, and the psychosocial staff is provided by the municipality, with shared leadership among the managers.
About the Job
Common tasks include various forms of conversations, mapping, and diagnostics. You are expected to take a guiding role in the team based on questions related to your profession and participate in developing the content of care in the operation, as well as assist in cases where there are questions regarding care levels. Investigations will not be your primary task in this position. Furthermore, you will be part of the outreach efforts that are planned and collaborate with care neighbors and other authorities. You will have close cooperation with, among others, psychiatry and social services.
About You
We are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience in assessment, diagnostics, and treatment of young people at risk of harmful substance use or gambling, as well as support for their relatives. It is an advantage if you have worked with young people in addiction care, adult or youth psychiatry, as well as if you have experience with family-oriented treatments. A driver's license (B) is required.
As a person, you are curious, brave, and have a genuine interest and commitment to the unit's target group. We also see that you have an interest in helping to build the operation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position and qualities such as good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Conditions
The position is 50%, and the employment rate can be discussed. You will work at the main receptions in Uddevalla and Trollhättan. Some evening work may occur. A driver's license (B) is required as travel is included in the job.
