About the Job

Your tasks will include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impact, and mental health issues. The job also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan will be developed.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both within your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible for the development of the operations in an ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You also see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the job, which you perform with commitment and professionalism. You can plan your work effectively and in an organized manner based on the goals of the operations. As the workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we see that you are flexible and independent.

You place great importance on good interactions and always strive to treat customers, patients, and colleagues with respect and care. We also expect you to embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Other Information

Travel is required for the job. A driver's license (B) is required.

Interviews at the clinic will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

We look forward to receiving your application!

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who will call candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager will make a second selection of applicants and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
