About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and cover the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You will work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital consultations, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up on patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you will be responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also included in your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have specialist training as a district nurse or if you are a diabetes nurse. Experience in primary care and/or a mentorship training of 7.5 credits is also meritorious, but we welcome you who are newly graduated.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We hope you have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

The position is a fixed-term employment for approximately 10 months, with a possibility of extension.

Travel in the job may occur, a B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates for a phone interview. After that, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
