About the Job
Your tasks will include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impairment, and mental health issues. The job also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan will be developed.
The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some tasks can be performed remotely. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.
The job involves collaboration with other professionals, both within your own unit and with other agencies. We work in teams focusing on children, mental health, and women's health.
About You
You are a licensed occupational therapist. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in primary care and/or have a strong interest in working in primary care.
We are looking for someone who is willing to take on the challenge of working independently and organizing and planning your work effectively based on set goals. You can handle uneven workloads and unforeseen events. Since you will meet many different people from various cultures in your work, it is important that you are accommodating and adjust your communication according to the situation. For you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
You place great importance on good customer service and always strive to treat clients, patients, and colleagues with respect and care. We also see that you embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
Other Information
Travel in the job may occur. A valid driver's license is required.
Interviews at the clinic are scheduled for weeks 10 and 11.
Welcome with your application!
About the Recruitment Process
The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
