As an employee within Närhälsan, you are offered various forms of development opportunities, for example through internal training and mentorship programs. At the workplace, we actively work on development projects to continuously improve our methods and best meet our patients' needs. Please read more about the advantages and benefits we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website (https://www.vgregion.se/introduktion)

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and cover the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You will work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-focused in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic within either diabetes, wounds, or another area where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. The position includes phone counseling and work in our patient chat. You will become an important part of a well-functioning and stable staff group that works closely together for our patients.

A close collaboration occurs cross-professionally within the team at the unit, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you will be responsible for developing and driving the operation forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse.

It is desirable that you have additional training in diabetes of at least 15 credits or experience working with diabetes patients. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We hope you have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

A professional approach and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Interviews at the health center are planned for February 16 and onwards.

Welcome with your application!

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. After that, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
