About the Job

Are you a nurse looking for an independent and varied job, ranging from intensive rehabilitation to end-of-life care? We are currently seeking two new colleagues for our short-term care units, one for Bagaregården and one for Fredriksdal.

The short-term care units in Gothenburg City support patients when they need to regain, maintain, or improve their ability to manage daily life, thereby facilitating their return home. The unit also cares for patients awaiting placement in nursing homes or those in the end stages of life. Within the operations of a short-term care unit, there is a steady flow of patients with admissions and discharges. Of a total of six short-term care units in Gothenburg City, three units are located in the city area of Centrum; Fredriksdal, Bagaregården, and Gråberget. You will work in a multidisciplinary team where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and nurses collaborate.

You will work 38.25 hours per week, primarily during the day, but evening shifts are also common.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have further education in areas such as palliative care, psychiatry, or other areas deemed relevant by the employer. You have relevant professional experience, preferably within municipal health and medical care at the primary care level or equivalent. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Since the job as a nurse with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the framework of your assignment or in dialogue with colleagues. You take responsibility for your own and the shared tasks with a focus on the patient. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can adapt your information according to the situation and the patient's needs.
