About the assignment


We at Novare are a proud and approved supplier of the government framework agreement in Sweden. We are now looking for an accounting assistant for an agency in Sundsvall.
The agency is currently in need of support as a new accounting system is to be implemented. As an accounting assistant, you will work with managing orders, supplier invoices, account reconciliations, and other financial administrative tasks.
For this role, we are looking for someone who is communicative and cooperative. You can work independently and take your own initiatives. Furthermore, we see that you have the ability to follow set goals.


The position is security classified, and you may need to undergo a background check and security clearance.


Examples of overall tasks

  • Management of supplier invoices and administration related to the invoice and order system
  • Management of various subscriptions
  • Manage orders
  • Incoming and outgoing payments
  • Reading accounting files
  • Reminder management and interest invoicing
  • Maintenance of Supplier Register
  • Spend analysis
  • Ongoing bookkeeping
  • Account reconciliations
  • Financial administrative tasks.


Requirements for the position

  • Financial education, at least at the high school level or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working with ongoing financial administration, e.g., invoice management, bookkeeping of incoming and outgoing payments, orders, etc. (experience should not be older than 7 years)
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.


Desirable qualifications for the position
- Experience working with financial administrative tasks at an authority
- Experience working in the purchasing and invoice management system Proceedo
- Experience working in the accounting system Unit4 ERP (formerly Agresso)
- Experience conducting Spendmap analysis.


Assignment period and scope
The assignment is between 75-100% by agreement. The position has a planned start date of 2026-02-15 and runs until 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension. The place of work is at the agency in Sundsvall; remote work is not possible.
