About the Position
You now have the opportunity to become part of our safe and dedicated team at Elgströmska Huset. In your role as a nurse with us, you will be responsible for the care of 10-20 residents with cognitive impairment, including BPSD issues. You will work in a team with your nursing colleagues, occupational therapist, nursing staff, and unit manager. We also collaborate with doctors and physiotherapists from the region. Examples of Job Responsibilities:
- decide, implement, and follow up on nursing measures
- be responsible for guidance and training in nursing
- instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to nursing staff
- maintain contact and provide support to relatives
- document in various quality registers and operational systems
- participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations
About the Workplace
Elgströmska Huset is located in Mellringe and has 59 places designated for people with cognitive impairment and 20 places designated for short-term care. We focus heavily on zero-vision work and person-centered care. As a nurse with us, you will be primarily based at Elgströmska Huset but belong to the Väster 1 area in the new health and medical care organization. As a nurse at Elgströmska Huset, you will be part of the Health and Medical Care Organization (HS) where we gather all nurses and occupational therapists within the municipality's special accommodations under one organization. This way, we can create better conditions, equitable care, and safeguard Örebro municipality's health and medical resources. For you as a nurse, this also means that you will have a manager who is a licensed professional and thus well-versed in the issues you face in your work.

Qualifications
As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You enjoy having your own areas of responsibility and take charge of your tasks in an independent and structured way. We see it as important that you have an interest in leading and mentoring staff. Being attentive and accommodating in your interactions, both with colleagues and residents, is a given for you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information is conveyed. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in what you face. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with residents and other staff, as well as document what the organization requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

Requirements:
- licensed nurse
Meritorious:
- specialist training in dementia
- experience working with people with cognitive impairment
- experience with documentation and operational systems such as Lifecare, Pascal, and Senior Alert
- specialist training such as district nurse, geriatrics, or psychiatry
Scope and Start Date
Employment type: permanent position
Employment rate: 100%
Start date: by agreement
Number of positions: 1
Working hours: day, evening, and weekend. Currently, it is two weekends every twelve weeks.
