We are continuing to recruit nurses as part of our goal to open more care places at the Medical Clinic! Today we have 18 care places distributed across three care teams, day and evening on weekdays. Our goal for care places, which we hope to reach before the summer of 2026, is 28 care places distributed across four care teams.

Lindesberg Hospital is one of Örebro County's three acute hospitals. Here you will find all the advantages of a smaller hospital - a friendly and familiar atmosphere combined with efficiency and great expertise. The hospital has both clinics and outpatient departments that are part of the Close Care area as well as clinics that are county-wide, meaning services that exist at all three hospitals in the county. The hospital services in the northern part of the area include the medical clinic, the emergency department, and the specialist clinics.

In the medical department, you will meet adult patients with medical conditions and diagnoses across the entire medical field. We have the northern part of the county as our primary catchment area. With us, you will gain a broad knowledge base where you continue to develop in your professional role, whether you are new to the role or not. The department offers a varied job where you as a nurse need to be able to switch between planned work and urgent interventions.

The department has a supervising nurse who is present on weekdays to support you and your colleagues in daily work. Together, an individual introduction is planned based on your experiences and conditions. You will work in a team with our nursing assistants as well as with doctors and paramedical resources. We also have discharge coordinators, receptionists, and personnel coordinators on site during the day so you can focus on patient care.

Professional Development:

Region Örebro County offers an introductory training for newly graduated nurses. At Lindesberg Hospital, we have a Clinical Training Center (KTC) that offers various training programs. Once you have settled into your work on the department, there is an opportunity to take on specific areas of responsibility that allow you to continue developing in your professional role.

We currently need nurses for day/evening or rotation. Based on the needs of the operation, individual scheduling is applied.
