The combined student health services of Lekeberg municipality aim to be a close support in the operations so that all our students can achieve good school results. We actively work to develop the organization and our forms of collaboration so that student health becomes a natural part of the school operations and is given the opportunity for cross-professional collaboration in close cooperation with educators and the school's daily activities.

The student health services primarily work preventively and promote health by using EHM (student health meeting) and its structure in all our operations. Safety, well-being, and good health are crucial for children and students to achieve good results in school; therefore, we have developed a common Equal Treatment Plan, and all our students complete digital safety surveys.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a school nurse who can start as soon as possible and who wants to continue developing our combined student health services. As a school nurse, you will primarily work with students and guardians in grades 7-9 and, to some extent, with grades F-6. In your work, you will, together with our two other school nurses, be responsible for planning and organizing your work according to the applicable guidelines for the medical services of student health. You will, of course, be in close dialogue with the other team members, and our joint work is characterized by enthusiasm, responsibility, a willingness to develop, and a safe environment. The work includes documentation in the Prorenata system.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who: • is a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse • has a driver's license with B category and can/may drive a car. Experience in school nursing is an advantage. We expect you to have a genuine interest in people and a good ability for structure and planning. We assume that you are independent, flexible, proactive, and enjoy working in a team and in close collaboration with school staff. Furthermore, you are responsible, independent, and open to ideas. You have the ability to see development potential and find solutions and opportunities in various situations. You have a good and empathetic approach and the ability to build trust with students, guardians, and colleagues. Additionally, you are responsible and approach your work with commitment.
