Pharmacist wanted for the unit of Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Center. We operate at Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. Our mission includes clinical pharmacy, ward pharmacy, management of medication templates in Cosmic, quality review of medication handling, and development of procedures for medication management. Currently, 17 employees work in the unit.

As an employee at Clinical Pharmacy, you will be part of the Pharmaceutical Center. The Pharmaceutical Center has overall responsibility for medication issues in Region Örebro County. We strive to promote evidence-based, cost-effective, and patient-safe medication use. The mission includes, in addition to the Clinical Pharmacy's tasks, work in the medication committee, operation of hospital pharmacies, medication procurement, clinical pharmacology, as well as education and information activities. We are also a university hospital unit and conduct research. The Pharmaceutical Center employs approximately 70 staff.

As a pharmacist at Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Center, you will have the opportunity to work with several varied tasks. The tasks that need to be strengthened at present and that you will primarily work with are clinical pharmacy and administration of prescription templates in Cosmic's medication module. Based on your skills, experience, and interests, your tasks will be adjusted as needed. The work may be located at all three hospitals. Brief description of the tasks:

• Clinical pharmacy at the region's healthcare units: patient-facing work as part of the care team with medication-related issues on the ward. In your role, you contribute with medication knowledge and provide support in medication matters for both healthcare professionals and patients.
• Administer prescription templates in Cosmic's medication module: as a template administrator, you create and revise prescription templates. Region Örebro County transitioned to the Cosmic journal system in the autumn of 2024. Pharmacists at the Pharmaceutical Center are responsible for all medication templates in Cosmic and work to keep these updated and pharmaceutically quality assured, in close collaboration with the responsible physician for each area of activity.

We are looking for a licensed pharmacist (or equivalent) who has a strong interest in working in a healthcare environment. You should be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have a good ability to communicate. You are confident in your professional role, pedagogical, and enjoy working both independently and in a team with different professions. You are flexible and have a good ability to prioritize while also seeing the bigger picture. You have the ability to complete tasks, take responsibility for getting the work done within given frameworks, and drive the work forward. You should be interested in developing the organization together with us. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities as we are keen to find the right person for the position.

Experience working clinically as a pharmacist in healthcare, working in a hospital pharmacy and/or community pharmacy is advantageous, as well as having completed a master's degree in clinical pharmacy.
