JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for two district nurses/nurses to join our team in home care.

As part of our effort to create an attractive workplace, we offer our nurses a 32-hour work week with a full-time salary. As a nurse with us, you will also have a free and independent work environment. You will be responsible for nursing in a specific area but will also collaborate closely with your nursing colleagues, covering for each other based on the needs of the operation. Our nurses in home care work together in shared facilities at Västergården.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a nurse with us include planning and structuring work for the individual and their relatives. You will assess and independently perform medical treatment and nursing interventions. We work with health-promoting, person-centered care and plan work based on the individual's unique conditions and needs.

A close teamwork with other professional categories such as nursing assistants, care assistants, occupational therapists, unit managers, and doctors from the health center constitutes a large part of the work. You will also have close collaboration and regular contact with both relatives and other external parties such as the health center and inpatient care.

A significant part of the work also involves guidance, training, and delegation of nursing staff.

The job includes a considerable amount of administrative work with documentation, follow-ups, and SIP (coordinated individual assessment) in connection with discharge from inpatient care.

The working hours are scheduled and performed both during the day, evening, and weekend. Even if you have area responsibility within a geographical area of the municipality, you will also work across other areas within the home care catchment area as you often cover for your colleagues. This means a flexible and challenging workplace.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

We are looking for a licensed district nurse/nurse and prefer that you have experience working in municipal home care.
