Job Description

We are now looking for dedicated project managers in product development (R&D). Within our section Project Management in the unit Product & Software Development, you will work on the development of high-tech and intelligent products for the sustainable world of the future. The assignments span several different industries, such as consumer products, telecommunications, automotive, medical technology, and industrial technology.

As a Project Manager for Product Development, you are responsible for delivering the project according to plan. You will organize and lead planning sessions, budget follow-ups, and everything involved in driving and delivering the project and product according to or above expectations.

You will also coach and support your project members and strive for a learning atmosphere in the team. You thrive in and are accustomed to leading teams in a development environment.

In this role, you will be in contact with many different people in the organization, so it is crucial that you are a skilled communicator with the ability to explain the complex in a simple way. Furthermore, you are also accustomed to requirements and needs management and have the ability to compile these into concrete and realistic goals.

As a Project Manager for Product Development at AFRY, you will be part of a fantastic and incredibly competent team of colleagues who work together to create innovative and sustainable solutions with our clients.

You have experience from a similar role and want to develop in the position, or have worked with product development in Software, Electronics, or Mechanics for several years and now want to step up to Project Manager. Since we work with many international clients, it is also required that you communicate fluently both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Furthermore, we also see that you have/are:

• Residing in Sweden
• Organizing/leads meetings and other activities and supports your team.
• Communicating with other parts of the organization regarding the team's success and progress.

It is also advantageous if you are/have:

• Certified Project Manager (PMI, IPMA, or Prince2, for example).
• Experience with agile work
• Relevant education in the field
