Are you driven to develop robust, sustainable, and user-friendly digital solutions? Norconsult is now looking for Automation & IT Developers who want to work on technically advanced projects and contribute to the development of future solutions within industry, energy, and infrastructure.

With us, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the entire development chain – from early ideas and feasibility studies to implementation and operational systems. You will work closely with both clients and colleagues and have a clear influence on how digitization and system development are realized in practice.

Our teams in automation and digitization consist of Automation & IT Developers and technical specialists who collaborate on projects of varying sizes and complexities, often at the intersection of IT and industrial environments.

For this role, your skills and experience are the most important – your geographical location is therefore not decisive. The assignments are carried out in national teams, and we have well-established groups with similar competence profiles at our offices in Piteå, Sundsvall, and Kalmar.

No matter where you are based, you will become an integral part of our teams through well-functioning collaboration methods, both locally and between offices. Norconsult's nationwide organization and digital working methods create good conditions for flexibility, knowledge exchange, and long-term development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in system development, automation, SCADA, or industrial IT environments, who wants to continue developing with us.

You have:

• Relevant higher education in computer engineering, system development, automation, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in system development, automation, or SCADA in technical or industrial environments

We also consider it an advantage to have experience in:

• Development in Ignition from Inductive Automation
• Programming in Python
• OPC UA and industrial communication
• Database management
• System integration and digitization of processes
• Structured work in project form
