With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in a dynamic environment where your work makes a real difference for Sweden's security and future.
Your Everyday Work – Contribute to Our Development with a Focus on Security
The IT department currently consists of 55 people and plans to expand further during the year. We constantly work on our skills development and are keen that everyone participates in various training initiatives.
We are now looking for an experienced IT technician who is passionate about technology and support and can become the extended arm of the IT department in Luleå. Your tasks will vary from installations and troubleshooting of PCs and printers to patching network outlets. You will perform support work within both administrative and security-classified IT environments.
You will also manage permissions, licenses, orders, and participate in various projects and activities. The work requires you to work with good structure, take great responsibility, and have your own drive as the other colleagues in the IT department are located in Eskilstuna. The work is mainly performed on-site in Luleå, and travel may occur in the northern region.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school education or equivalent training. You should have work experience from IT support work in a corporate environment as an IT technician or IT support technician. We want you to have experience with a ticketing system as well as experience in troubleshooting, installation, and support of Microsoft-based clients, printers, and user administration in Microsoft Active Directory.
You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing as well as good knowledge of English. You also have good administrative skills. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as well as a B driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have a high school education with an IT focus and if you have any training in the IT security field. If you have worked with security-classified IT environments and/or worked with smart cards and specific hardware solutions in secure environments, it is to your advantage. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with servers and networks and are used to handling software licenses.
Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability, where an important part is that you are security-conscious. As a person, you are meticulous, service-oriented, and have good communication and collaboration skills. You are also quality-conscious and have your own drive and commitment to your work, as well as working in a structured manner and having good analytical skills. Actively supporting the organization and contributing to knowledge transfer with your colleagues is a natural part of your work.
What Do We Offer You?
Together with approximately 1400 colleagues at the Fortifications Agency across the country, you will work with a unique property portfolio to strengthen Sweden's total defense. We are proud of the socially important mission we have, where by owning, developing, and managing properties for total defense, we contribute to a safe and free Sweden. Our tasks are varied, exciting, and challenging and require their competence. We work based on the state value foundation and strive for gender balance.
