What does the position entail?
We are currently looking for an exam invigilator for our distance students in Upplands Väsby. Your tasks include preparation, supervision of exams on-site, and administrative follow-up. Collaborate with colleagues under the guidance of our exam coordinator and our principals.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, attentive, and has a keen eye for detail. You have a strong sense of fairness and integrity, and can handle various situations with both determination and calm. With the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, you ensure that all students understand the rules and feel secure during the exam situation. You are reliable, organized, and possess great patience, allowing you to supervise exams without becoming stressed or distracted. Your discretion and ability to quickly notice deviant behaviors contribute to creating a fair and disturbance-free exam environment. To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong ability for self-leadership, enjoy working in a changing organization, and have a genuine interest in education.
Requirements:
Availability to be on-site in our premises for exams 1-3 days every 5 weeks on specified days to supervise exams as well as preparation and follow-up related to the exams. Basic computer skills are required.
Desirable:
Desirable qualities include previous experience in similar roles, the ability to handle conflict situations, technical competence to supervise digital exams, as well as a pedagogical background or experience working with students in a school environment or knowledge of accessibility adaptations.
Additional Information
This position is part-time. The location is on-site in our premises in Upplands Väsby, not remote. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application date of February 28, 2026.
