Are you looking for a developing and fun summer job?

Göteborg Energi, together with the City of Gothenburg, will welcome a group of young people who will work as summer employees.

A total of 48 summer employees aged 16-19 will work with us during two three-week periods, and we are looking for seven team leaders who want to help us make this possible.

The summer job starts on June 9 and runs until July 24. The first days are dedicated to planning, training, and team building with the other team leaders. During the following six weeks, you will work together with your fellow team leaders and be responsible for your group of summer employees, usually about four people. The group's task is maintenance and painting of outdoor electrical cabinets.

As a team leader, you are responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out safely and correctly and in the right place. You take your group to the locations where you will work, report working hours, guide, and provide the summer employees with materials and tools for smooth execution.

It is a fun and developing summer job where you get to work with young people, build relationships, and be an important part of many people's first work experience.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing post-secondary education. You are responsible, structured, and enjoy a role where you can lead and motivate others. You like to collaborate and have a good attitude when meeting people. Previous experience in leading groups is an advantage. If you are studying to become an engineer or in another technical field, we see it as a plus.

The work will involve driving around Gothenburg, so a valid driver's license (B) is required.
