Do you want to help develop and maintain Sweden's rail infrastructure?

We are now looking for experienced track engineers for our client operating in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland. Here you will work in an industry with high demand and great importance for society.

Job Responsibilities

As a track engineer, you will work on the construction, maintenance, and repair of railway and tramway facilities. Your tasks may include:

• Maintenance of rails, sleepers, switches, and track components
• Adjustment of track geometry and ballast work
• Participation in new construction and reconstruction of tracks
• Ensuring that work is carried out according to applicable safety regulations
• Documentation of completed work and reporting to management

The work is done in teams and can be during the day, night, and weekends depending on the project. Travel within Västra Götaland may occur.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience working in track environments as a track engineer or equivalent
• Track engineering education or documented practice/experience
• Good understanding of safety regulations and workplace requirements
• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• BASÄVISTA, SoS leader, or other track safety training
• Welding skills (thermite, arc welding, or other)
• Experience with machines and tools related to tracks
• Hot work certificate
