Construction Manager at Göteborg Energi

Do you want to help shape Göteborg's future energy solutions? We are looking for an engaged construction manager who wants to take responsibility for supervising and following up on contractors' work and become a key person in our exciting projects!

Your Task

In the role of construction manager, you are often on-site during projects under contracts and you participate in or lead start-up and construction meetings, where you represent Göteborg Energi in collaboration with contractors and designers together with the project manager.

You contribute to building good solutions, and with your experience, you are important both in design and contracting. You will also play a significant role in the financial follow-up of the projects.

Your Team

In our unit, we work to create future solutions by building new, reinvesting, and relocating networks for district heating, district cooling, water supply, and gas. Today, our team consists of 11 project managers, 1 project engineer, and 5 construction managers – and since one employee has changed positions within the unit, we need to replace them with a new star who wants to take responsibility for the underground network.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is engaged, solution-oriented, and has experience from earthworks for the construction of networks in water supply, district heating, district cooling, or gas. You have knowledge of pressure vessel standards or water supply standards and are used to working with excavation, material handling, and paving. You need at least a high school education, but we prefer that you have further education in a relevant field.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
