TK Elevator is growing – and is looking for a strategic buyer for its Swedish team. Here you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and take a comprehensive approach to several procurement areas in an international company with a future-oriented vision.

As a Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, you will belong to the purchasing department where your team consists of a purchasing manager, two strategic buyers, and several local buyers/purchasers. As a team, you will work towards both the Swedish and Nordic markets and will therefore have a lot of contact with colleagues in the Nordic countries.

You will be based at TK Elevator's headquarters in Stockholm/Skärholmen but will also visit other Nordic offices and suppliers in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. The purchasing volume in the Nordic region is approximately 1 billion SEK.

In the role of Strategic Buyer, you will help find synergies between Nordic units and five newly acquired companies in Sweden. You will work closely with the Fleet Manager and other buyers and report to the Head of Supply Chain and Purchasing, Nordics, who will also be available as support.

The company is on a strong growth journey, and for the right person, there are great development opportunities. At the Nordic headquarters, about 50 employees work in areas such as sales, new installations, HR, and finance. They work in the business system Visma, and communication occurs in both Swedish and English. Parking spaces and charging stations are available for those who drive to work near the premises. On Tuesdays, a breakfast buffet is served!

Responsibilities

In the role of Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, you will:

  • Be a key player in the purchasing organization that is under construction

  • Review and collect volumes, prices, agreements, and specifications

  • Optimize the supplier portfolio and seek new suppliers in the global market

  • Work for continuous improvements and cost reductions through enhanced supplier collaboration

  • Prepare procurements

  • Participate in and independently drive procurements

  • Follow up and report savings

Qualifications

To succeed and excel in the role of Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, we believe you have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement work or equivalent

  • Post-secondary education in procurement or equivalent professional experience

  • Some experience in strategic procurement

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Good knowledge of the Office suite and Excel

  • Driving license B

  • It is advantageous if you have experience working with agreements concerning subcontractors
