Become part of a dedicated team at our client's company, where you will work with safety surveillance for medical devices and cosmetics in a role that combines precision with regulatory expertise.
About the role
As a Safety Surveillance Specialist, you are responsible for handling and investigating safety cases for non-pharmaceutical products such as cosmetics and dietary supplements. You work independently to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate closely with the QA department to evaluate complaints.

The assignment is full-time until October, with good prospects for extension or part-time extra work afterwards.
Responsibilities
The role involves operational responsibility for maintaining and managing systems for safety surveillance of non-pharmaceutical products to protect consumer well-being.
- Handle and investigate safety cases, including assessment and documentation.
- Conduct regulatory reporting for medical device incidents and cosmetic vigilance.
- Gather safety data from cross-functional teams to meet reporting requirements.
- Provide support and consultation regarding complaint handling in accordance with current regulations.
- Evaluate incoming complaints to ensure correct post-market surveillance.
- Document and administer cases in internal databases.
- Collaborate with the QA department regarding quality deviations and the complaint process.
We are looking for someone who
- Has studied or is currently studying pharmacy, natural sciences, medicine, or equivalent.
- Has fluent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Is proficient in MS Office and working with databases.
- Has knowledge of case management and complaint processes.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience with regulatory reporting (vigilance reporting).
