About the Role
We are now looking for a Business Developer who wants to play a central role in the development of future road and construction projects. This role is suitable for you who want to work at the intersection of business, technology, and production, and who are motivated by driving projects from start to completion.
You will have a key role in identifying, developing, and winning new business. From analyzing business opportunities and tenders to leading bidding processes and creating a smooth transition to production, you will become an important link throughout the entire project lifecycle.
As a Business Developer, you work close to the operations and are responsible for driving business from the early stages through to implementation.
Your Future Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and tenders.
- Drive and coordinate bidding processes from analysis to final bid.
- Gather and coordinate internal resources to create competitive offers.
- Develop solutions and offers that meet customer needs and create long-term value.
- Conduct risk and opportunity analyses and contribute to business decisions.
- Work on cost calculations and supporting documentation together with specialists within the organization.
- Ensure an efficient handover from the business and bidding phase to production.
- Contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and future business.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a strong drive and a genuine interest in developing business, projects, and collaborations. Experience may come from contracting, construction, operation and maintenance, building, or other project-intensive activities. Today you might work as a site manager, foreman, contracting engineer, project manager, business developer, or within bidding and costing. Experience with tenders, contracting law, AMA, or costing is advantageous.
We also welcome more junior candidates, as in this recruitment we place great emphasis on personal qualities that are crucial for success in the role. You do not need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is your willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who is curious, driven, and proactive, as well as meticulous in their work and service-oriented in interactions with customers and colleagues.
