About the Role
Our client is part of a larger Nordic telecommunications group, where the operations are characterized by innovation, international collaboration, and high technical competence. On their behalf, we are looking for an experienced, business-driven, and operational consultant who can build and drive the marketing for a relatively new product area. The role is located within the marketing department and involves significant responsibility for establishing a modern, data-driven, and sales-oriented marketing function with a focus on digital demand generation, lead generation, and conversion.
This is a commercial marketing role. We are not looking for just a strategist or project manager, but for someone who can both define the strategy and execute it themselves, even if you have a marketing team with specialist roles to assist. You need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, creating content, building campaigns, developing landing pages, and quickly turning ideas into activities that generate business.
This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on behalf of our client. We are looking for someone who can start in early September, with the assignment initially lasting six months but with good chances of extension. The office is located in Solna, and you are offered the opportunity to work from home approximately 50%. At the end of the process, our client will conduct a background check on the candidate offered the assignment.
Responsibilities
As Digital Demand Generation Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy that drives qualified web traffic, generates leads, and increases conversion throughout the entire customer journey – from first contact to sale. You will function as both a strategic advisor and an operational driving force, helping the organization prioritize the right activities to quickly create business results.
- Design and implement marketing strategies for a new business area.
- Build and optimize scalable digital sales and marketing engines.
- Create and specify content for different stages of the customer journey.
- Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) work on web and landing pages.
- Responsible for lead generation via Pardot and Salesforce.
- Analyze KPIs and optimize marketing efforts based on data.
- Produce operational material such as web copy, emails, and campaigns.
We are looking for someone who
- Has extensive experience in digital and results-oriented marketing (B2B).
- Has experience building and driving demand generation, digital sales, or growth marketing.
- Has experience from SaaS, software, tech, or other digitally mature organizations.
- Has advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot.
- Has experience working closely with sales organizations and understanding how marketing contributes to sales.
- Has very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
