Ekhammarskolan is centrally located in Kungsängen with around 700 students and 100 employees. The school includes grades 4-9 as well as two municipal teaching groups for grades 4-6 and 7-9.

Ekhammarskolan is growing and developing – and now we are looking for two dedicated special teachers in Swedish and/or mathematics who want to be part of our student-focused work.

With us, you will become a key person in creating an accessible learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. Right now, we are looking for two special teachers for Ekhammarskolan's middle school grades 4-6, one special teacher in Swedish and one special teacher in mathematics.

About Ekhammarskolan

Ekhammarskolan is a grades 4–9 school with a strong community and a clear focus on safety, study peace, and high quality in teaching. We work systematically with student health and have close collaboration between teachers, special teachers, student health teams, and school management. Together, we create a school where both students and staff thrive, develop, and are challenged.

As a special teacher with us, you will:

  • Conduct pedagogical investigations and mappings
  • Provide special educational support both in and outside the classroom
  • Teach in smaller groups and/or individually
  • Support and guide teachers in their work with extra adaptations and special support
  • Work closely with student health and contribute to the school's overall development work
  • Follow up and evaluate interventions for students in need of support
  • Be part of the school's student health team and student support team

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified special teacher in Swedish and/or mathematics
  • Has a good ability to create trusting relationships

  • Has a strong desire to contribute to students' development and the school's common goals

Experience of working in primary school and knowledge of NPF and language-developing methods are meritorious.

About the position

  • The position is a permanent full-time (100%) position with a vacation agreement. A probationary period may be applied.
  • Start date according to agreement but preferably no later than: 2026-04-20
  • Salary according to agreement.
