We are looking for a consulting team that wants to support a larger organization in the public sector in the next step of a strategic investment in data and AI. The focus is on establishing, further developing, and deploying a modern hybrid data and AI platform where cloud solutions interact with existing on-prem environments. The environment is Microsoft-based and includes Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and connections to Microsoft 365. A central goal is to move from pilots to production and create long-term sustainable business benefits, with clear data governance and compliance with GDPR and the AI regulation.

• Establish governance for AI agents/assistants based on Microsoft's platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry).
• Develop AI agents/assistants from needs to production, primarily on Microsoft's platforms, and contribute to development in on-prem environments.
• Define requirements and implement an AI platform on-prem.
• Plan and implement Azure landing zones based on prioritized needs.
• Establish and configure Fabric environments and workspaces and integrate with existing systems and data sources.
• Design and develop data models in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake).
• Design and develop data models and integrations in Microsoft BI (SQL Server, SSIS).
• Develop data flows and pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Spark, Notebooks, Power Query).
• Create visualizations and reporting in Power BI (semantic model, DAX).
• Implement and optimize integrations with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Teams, and external APIs.
• Ensure governance practices, information security, compliance with GDPR and AI regulation, and lifecycle management of data and AI solutions.
• Contribute to planning, roadmap, change management, and business development related to the platform.
• Further develop the platform to support streamed and multimodal data in a data lakehouse.
• Work on cost optimization and reporting (FinOps) for cost-effective operations.

• Documented experience in architecture/design and operational implementation of hybrid solutions in larger organizations, related to relevant platforms.
• Collective competence in the team covering needs and tasks within the establishment, development, and operation of AI and data platforms using Microsoft technology (including Azure and Fabric) as well as hybrid/on-prem.
• Microsoft Solutions Partner for Data & AI (Azure) (certification at the vendor level).
• At least one relevant reference assignment of similar nature (not older than three years).

• Experience from the public sector or similar assignments for another region.
