We provide healthcare locally and regionally, but also highly specialized care to patients across the country and abroad. Our employees are our strength and contribute to knowledge exchange nationally and internationally. With digital tools and new working methods, we can simplify everyday life at the hospital and offer modern, accessible, and efficient care of the highest quality.
About the department
The Urology department provides urological healthcare to the residents of Greater Gothenburg, including Mölndal, and has overall responsibility for the entire Västra Götaland region.
In urology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, we work with conditions affecting the urinary tract in both women and men. This includes a wide range of diagnoses, such as urinary incontinence, neurogenic bladder disorders, kidney stones, and various forms of urological cancer. Approximately 2,600 patients are treated annually in inpatient care, and we receive about 20,000 patient visits at the Urology Clinic each year. Additionally, around 2,000 surgeries are performed each year. The tasks at the urology clinic are therefore very varied. Here, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and administrative staff work together. We are a great team that would love to have new colleagues.
The position is a temporary contract.
What do we offer you?
- A varied job
- Good opportunities for professional development according to an individual development plan
- Participation in interdisciplinary improvement work
