As an internal auditor, you will review complex operations and provide support to the board and management of the Swedish Public Employment Service, strengthening the authority in achieving its goals.

Our Workplace
The internal audit department at the Swedish Public Employment Service consists of eight employees responsible for reviewing and suggesting improvements to internal governance and control for the entire authority's operations. The work also includes advisory assignments to management.
Job Description
As an internal auditor, you will:
- Plan, conduct, and communicate the results of audits and advisory assignments
- Follow up on the actions taken by the organization based on audits
- Analyze risks and contribute to the development of our audit plan and annual report
- Develop the internal audit's working methods and competencies
The work is performed both independently and in teams. We collaborate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization, which may involve travel to the authority's various offices across the country.

We offer a permanent full-time position that may start with a six-month probationary period, with a start date according to agreement. The workplace is located in Solna, Malmö, or Gothenburg.

Basic Qualifications
- Academic education of at least 180 credits in areas such as economics, law, computer science, or other areas deemed relevant for the role of internal auditor
- At least 5 years of experience in qualified auditing or investigative work, risk management, or internal governance and control within a larger organization. We welcome applicants from both the private and public sectors, as well as those with operational understanding of the authority's operations
- Very good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish
Other Qualifications for the Position
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys working broadly. You have the ability to quickly understand complex subject areas, work in a structured and methodical manner, and achieve results of high quality. You may have a specialist area, but we equally value a broad profile with the ability to audit different types of operations. It is advantageous if you have experience in areas such as:
- Government regulations or public administration
- Economics, accounting, or operational management
- IT environments and information security
- Operational work within the Swedish Public Employment Service or similar complex organizations
- Certification as an internal auditor (CIA) or experience working with management systems and risk management
In addition, you have the personal ability and inclination to work in accordance with the employee criteria of the Swedish Public Employment Service.
