As an IT Security Engineer with our partner, you will have a central and varied role where IT security permeates everything you do. You will be an important part of projects and work closely with both colleagues and clients to ensure robust, secure, and sustainable solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in architecture and design work with a focus on IT security
• Breaking down and interpreting IT security requirements into technical solutions
• Supporting projects in evaluating solutions from a security perspective
• Being a natural sounding board and hub for IT security-related issues
• Writing technical documentation and participating in in-depth technical discussions
• Maintaining close dialogue with clients on security matters

Here you will have the opportunity to develop quickly, take responsibility, and build a solid foundation in professional IT security in complex environments.

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in, for example, computer engineering and cybersecurity
• Has at least 1 year of work experience related to IT security, such as a cybersecurity consultant, IT security engineer, or SOC analyst
• Has good knowledge of Python, Linux, and technical problem-solving
• Has basic knowledge of cryptography and networking technology (Cisco, switches, firewalls, routers)
• Has a clear interest in cybersecurity – preferably with hobby projects beyond studies and work
• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing

It is a merit if you have experience with one or more of the following standards: KSF 3.1, EAL levels of Common Criteria, ISO27001, or other international standards such as BSI.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who wants to work long-term in cybersecurity. You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy understanding how things work in depth. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the client has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, require specific citizenship.
