Individual and Family Care!

The Individual and Family Care unit is a relatively small unit with a total of 23 employees who all help to carry out the tasks assigned to the operation. The operation consists of three units: the Child and Family Unit, the Adult Unit, and the Administration Unit. The treatment service belongs to the Adult Unit, where the handling of cases concerning financial assistance, addiction/dependency, violence, and other adult matters is located. Both the authority part and the open care part exist within the Adult Unit, as well as in the Child and Family Unit. The operation has two additional treatment services besides the one that is now to be recruited. The mission of open care is to support and help individuals become independent in various ways through different methods. Most interventions are provided via assistance decisions.

Job Responsibilities

As a therapist:

• You will work supportively and therapeutically with the aim of helping individuals with varying degrees of issues to live an independent life.
• You will work with children, adults, and families, and the starting point for the interventions is to strengthen the individual’s/family’s own resources and provide tools aimed at self-help.
• The content of the interventions will be tailored to the needs and conditions of each individual/family.
• There is ongoing work regarding the transition to the new social services act, where you, together with other employees, will be a part of.
• Other tasks may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time.

As a therapist, you will work with interventions without assistance decisions both individually and in groups, as well as on assignments from social workers, e.g.:

• Motivational interviewing
• Treatment work based on the methods recommended by the National Board of Health and Welfare, both individually and in groups
• Family supportive/therapeutic interventions
• Some evening work may occur

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in the social field, e.g. social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Training in the evidence-based methods recommended by the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Experience in treatment work.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Driver's license B, as travel may occur in the position.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You are calm, stable, and have the ability to create and maintain good relationships. You are clear, communicative, and structured with a high degree of personal maturity and self-awareness.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
