Experience is a requirement!

Do you want to contribute to developing an organization where the best interests of the child are the obvious starting point – and where your skills, experience, and professional drive are given space and value?

Prosperum Family Care is an integrated part of the Prosperum Group – an expanding organization that has previously operated HVB activities for children and adolescents aged 13-17 years. As we broaden our mission to more effectively meet the individual needs of children, we have established a foster care operation with several framework agreements. Therefore, we are looking for a key person who wants to join us in contributing to the design of a qualitative and sustainable operation.

We are looking for an experienced and committed foster care consultant with both deep professional competence and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children and young people. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on a leading role with strategic influence over the continued development and culture-building of the organization.

About the organization

Prosperum Family Care works to ensure that every child and young person is given the conditions for a safe, stable, and loving upbringing. Our model is based on carefully assessed and well-matched foster homes, where each effort is characterized by quality, sustainability, and professional commitment.

The organization is still in a development and building phase, which creates opportunities for those who do not just want to manage – but actively shape an organization with children's rights at the center and the courage to think innovatively when needed.

We currently have offices in both Falun and Borlänge, which means that the work is highly flexible, and there is also the possibility to work remotely. At the same time, our geographical operations are based on recruiting, assessing, and following up foster homes in central Sweden.

Job Responsibilities

As a foster care consultant, you are responsible for ensuring quality throughout the placement process, from recruiting and assessing foster homes to guidance, follow-up, and documentation. The assignment includes:

  • Recruiting and assessing potential foster homes according to current legislation and professional practice
  • Providing continuous support and guidance to foster homes in their assignments
  • Ensuring follow-up and quality in placements, with a focus on the child's needs and rights
  • Documenting and reporting according to current regulations and quality requirements

The work is carried out independently but in close collaboration with management and other employees. The position involves travel – a B driver's license is therefore a requirement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in social work or another relevant higher education in social or behavioral sciences
  • Has documented experience in investigative work and guidance within foster care
  • Has many years of experience in social work with children and adolescents
  • Is confident in leading conversations, assessments, and written documentation
  • Works in a structured manner, is self-driven, and has good collaboration skills
  • Has a genuine commitment to children's rights to safe upbringing conditions and wants to contribute to development – both at the individual and organizational level

We offer

  • Company car, phone, and laptop to facilitate remote work
  • Opportunity to be involved in the early stages and influence the design and direction of the organization
  • Short decision-making paths and plenty of room for personal initiatives
  • A warm, trusting, and professional work environment
  • Regular external supervision and opportunities for continuous professional development
  • Competitive employment conditions including collective agreements
  • For the right person: the opportunity to develop into a leading role with strategic responsibility

Information about the recruitment process:

In accordance with the Social Board's decision, a certificate from the Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register is required. You can find the form via the Police (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-annan-verksamhet/).

Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

In preparation for the recruitment work, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We kindly but firmly request no contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.

Warm welcome with your application!
