Bharat Forge Kilsta AB in Karlskoga is owned by the Indian forging group Bharat Forge Ltd, the world's largest forging group and part of the Kalyani Group. Bharat Forge Kilsta AB has approximately 300 employees.
The company is globally one of the largest suppliers of crankshafts and front axle beams for heavy-duty vehicles. The company also manufactures crankshafts for passenger cars and steering components. The core of the operation consists of a unique 16,000-ton forging press, considered to be the most efficient facility of its kind in the world.
The customers include several major European truck manufacturers. The company operates in a highly competitive and distinctly international environment. We are now looking for an additional Key Account Manager to strengthen our market position.
The RoleAs a Key Account Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining and further developing our strong customer relationships across all our sites in Sweden, Germany, and India. You will collaborate with four other Key Account Managers, one in Sweden and three in Germany, where you will target the “non-automotive” customer segment as well as truck manufacturers both in Sweden and internationally. Currently, the automotive sector is our largest customer base, but we want to expand into other customer segments.
You will report functionally to the Chief Sales Officer in Germany but legally to the CEO in Karlskoga.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you:
· Identify and establish new business opportunities with strategically important customers and ensure that our volume and profitability targets are met.
· Proactively capture new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers and work systematically to keep track of these.
· Drive the entire sales process from initial contact to closure, including follow-up and customer satisfaction.
· Monitor market developments and stay updated on competitors.
· Engage in negotiations with large OEMs and work on quotations.
Who are we looking for?You have solid experience in industrial sales and possess a strong technical interest and understanding. You likely have managed large accounts with significant volumes with OEMs, preferably automotive customers, especially in heavy vehicles. Other relevant experience would be if you have worked in the steel industry, giving you an understanding of machining and process industry.
Experience in international sales is advantageous, as is having an existing relevant network. We prefer that you have a university degree in mechanics or engineering, but this is not a requirement. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is, however, a requirement.
The position involves some travel, approximately 45-60 overnight stays both in Sweden and internationally, so you must enjoy that context.
We will place great emphasis on your personality in this role. You must thrive and have the ability to represent a global organization and easily engage with customers to help them find good solutions. Determination, curiosity, and independence are other important traits. Additionally, you are a skilled negotiator with strong analytical abilities.
Application and InformationDo you recognize yourself in what we are looking for? If you have questions about the position, please contact HR consultant Helena Fiedler at 070-5919033 or via LinkedIn. We would like to receive your application as soon as possible, but no later than xxxx.
