Your Mission
We are looking for social workers for the Authority for Children and Youth unit.
The unit consists of four work teams: Family Law, Reception Group, Investigation Group, and Follow-up of Care. We are now seeking social workers to be placed in the investigation group.
The work involves exercising authority in the area of IFO children and youth, and the main tasks include handling cases according to SoL and LVU. We work with the target group of children and youth aged 0-20 years, their families, and networks. The work is complex and requires flexibility, initiative, and responsibility. As a colleague and employee with us, you have the child's best interests in focus and strive to create participation among the people we serve. You have a good approach and a professional attitude towards people in difficult life situations. You should have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. The work involves collaboration with close colleagues as well as with other units, preschools, schools, police, and other important actors that may be involved with the child/family. Business trips may occur.
We would like you to have previous experience in the profession, especially regarding the exercise of authority in the area of Children and Youth.
Interviews may take place continuously during the recruitment process. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and the ability to fit into the work team.
Workplace Description
The Authority for Children and Youth is part of the Children and Learning sector. In the Authority for Children and Youth unit within the IFO operation, we work with reception, investigation, and follow-up work after received applications and reports in families with children aged 0–20 years.
The unit is led by a unit manager, deputy unit manager, and two senior social workers who are responsible for guidance and support in everyday work. With us, we work from a holistic perspective focusing on the needs, well-being, and development of the child/youth. We believe that collaboration, both internally and externally, is of utmost importance to give our children and youth the best opportunities in life. We are the small municipality that has close access to decisions and where mandates are delegated far down in the organization. We have regular external supervision, regular case preparations, the possibility of vacation exchange, and flexible working hours agreements. Your Competence
Degree in Social Work, 210 credits. Since the work requires a degree in social work, we will not process applications that do not meet this requirement.
Experience in exercising authority and handling cases in the relevant area. Education and experience in working with BBiC. Experience with Signs of Safety. Cultural competence.
You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have a B driver's license as some travel is required in the work.
