In connection with an employee's upcoming parental leave and due to the transition work to a new social services law, we have chosen to strengthen individual and family care in Ovanåker Municipality with a permanent position.

We are therefore looking for a social worker for the investigation group within the child and youth unit.

The main task within the investigation group is to investigate the needs of children and young people for protection and support. As a social worker in the investigation group, you have a comprehensive documentation responsibility. You will have conversations with children, parents, and other individuals in the child's network and will also collaborate closely with other professionals.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a social worker in Ovanåker Municipality include handling cases according to SoL and LVU. Our target group is children and young people aged 0-21 years and their families.

As a social worker, you will be part of a workgroup that has an important mission to fulfill. You will have the opportunity to work in a small organization with a good working climate and short decision-making paths, where you work closely with your colleagues, managers, and partners. In the small workgroup, we work together, and you will therefore be involved in a larger context than just your specific area of work. This is both enriching, developing, and safe for you as an employee. We work to maintain legal security and high quality with the child's needs in focus. As a social worker, you also have an important role in the development work of the organization in line with the new social services law, with a particular focus on early interventions, increased accessibility, and the best interests of the child. The position may involve work in or in close collaboration with school social teams. In our organization, work environment efforts are also a central part where you, as an employee, play an important role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a social worker and has at least one year of experience in public authority within social services.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where clarity, structural and analytical ability, flexibility, and collaboration skills are important qualities. You also need to have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing.

Conditions

A driver's license and computer skills are required. We offer external supervision and staff support.
